Finally, they're here, and in addition to offering Trollbeads in our Downtown Lewes, Bethany Beach and Milford Blooming Boutique locations, we're now bringing them to our Rehoboth store.
Why? Because our customers kept asking us for them. Maybe it's so they could better accessorize the new hand bag they got from us or set off the new Lindsay Phillips shoes they've had their eye on. Lewes Jewelry Show at Blooming Boutique
Posted 2011-09-13Blooming Boutique will host a Trunk Show Friday, September 23rd at 3pm at 107 Second Street, (the Downtown Lewes location) during the Italian Festival.
The show will feature the works of Brend Peruzza, a hot New York jewelry designer, offering her unique jewerly and exquiite bridal accessories from Peruzzi Originale, Inc.
Fashionable, stylish and exquisite, Brenda's designs are worn by celebrity of all kinds, from screen to tv stars and have been featured in well known fashion and jewelry magazines. "I'm inspired by Victorian and Western motifs and use only the highest quality crystals, semi-precious gems, pearls, gold, silver and diamonds to create my designs."
Having earned a reputation for cutting edge style and elegance; featuring 1950's style Swarovski and 1960-70 Murano Glass, Brenda's new lines are anxiously awaited worldwide and her jewelry line is sold in many posh boutiques in the USA, London and South Africa.
"I brought the line in this year and what people love is the uniqueness, quality and how affordable the line is for everyone", says store owner Michiko Seto.

Lewes Italian Festival
Posted 2011-09-03Ok, so here's "the more" info we promised about the Lewes Italian Festival:
Happening on Friday, September 23rd, from 10a-10p, the Lewes Italian Festival is a part of the Fun Friday series of events that began in Downtown Lewes this past April. As you might have guessed, the festival will feature delicious Italian Food (is there anything but?), wonderful wines, live music and entertainment and a great warm and friendly atmosphere. But here are a few things you might also like to know...
- The fun starts at 10am when Downtown Lewes Merchants and Restaurants open their doors for special Italian treats and merchandise (we'll be featuring custom Italian Designed jewelry from Brenda Peruzza of Peruzzi Originale from New York as well as 25% off all Italian Shoemaker shoes and special Italian Crystal beads from Trollbeads and Chamilia)
- At 2pm there will be a commemorative plaque unveiled for the Italian Explorer Giovanni de Verrazano at The Cannonball House (de Verrazano actually charted the waters of what is now Cape Henlopen in the Sixteenth Century)
- From 5p-10p, Second Street in Downtown Lewes will be cleared of all vehicles and open only to foot traffic as it's turned into an authentic Italian Street Festival scene complete with two stages full of entertainment that will include Marrio Rocco performing Italian Love Songs, Bob Palese and Charlie Tumini on accordian and drums, Strega Nona and the Magic Pasta Pot (Strega Nona is the charming Italian Witch whose chants and potions are meant to help the people in her village) and menbers from the Delaware Comedy Troupe Theatre.
- Nadine Rubanoff will also be featured performing Italian Songs Bel Canto and songs by Verdi, Puccini and Bellini and Rossini.

Blooming Boutique Has Universal Trollbeads

Universal refers to the size of the silver core which on these beads is larger than the standard glass Trollbeads opening. The larger core will allow "other" bracelet lines to be able to add the Trollbeads beautiful beads to their collection and bracelet.

Michiko SetoMichiko Seto, a Jersey Shore native, founded Blooming Boutique. She spent many summers working in various types of small businesses and dreaming about owning a business of her own one day. Graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Michiko Seto, obtained valuable experience working in management positions in retail, banking and direct sales. From summer jobs to post graduation experiences, the dream unfolded.While on vacation in 2004, Michiko Seto happened upon some unique handbags and beach bags that were as pricey as they were beautiful. Being inspired, Michiko Seto designed beautiful, unique but affordable bags for her friends and family. Creatively, the bags progressed from silk flowers to adding various trim of beads, fringes, seashells and even changeable trims. The public began taking notice of the Blooming Bags. Seeing the opportunity for a business, Michiko Seto began looking for a place to sell her bags.
A Growing BusinessMichiko Seto's first Blooming Boutique location opened in August of 2006, in a small, 375 square foot space located at 107 W. Market Street in downtown Lewes, Delaware. It began with all different Blooming Bags and a few handbag accessories. Blooming Boutique was an immediate success and the customer demand prompted the opening of a store farther south. Michiko Seto opened the second Blooming Boutique in Rehoboth Beach in April, 2007. She spent many summers working in various types of small businesses and dreaming about owning a business of her own one day. Graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Michiko Seto, obtained valuable experience working in management positions in retail, banking and direct sales. From summer jobs to post graduation experiences, the dream unfolded.While on vacation in 2004, Michiko Seto happened upon some unique handbags and beach bags that were as pricey as they were beautiful. Being inspired, Michiko Seto designed beautiful, unique but affordable bags for her friends and family. Creatively, the bags progressed from silk flowers to adding various trim of beads, fringes, seashells and even changeable trims. The public began taking notice of the Blooming Bags. Seeing the opportunity for a business, Michiko Seto began looking for a place to sell her bags.
